Instead of following the road, I can climb a disused fire-escape staircase and cut out a big slow uphill loop. I love streamlining travel routes \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"map of the shortcut I found\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.tomfotherby.com\/Images\/bikeShortcut.jpg?w=620&#038;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I do have a bit of a nightmare on the way home though.
